I love pas-ghetti!!! :)

Will had spaghetti for dinner last night. It was Gerber spaghetti, but if you look closely, it had lots of noodles and some meat in there, too. It was the closest thing to what the jar says that I have seen. He did really well eating it, and as you can tell, he really liked it. I don't think we will have a problem getting him to eat real food soon. :)

More pancake please!!

Brad and I took Boo-boo to IHOP this morning after church. Boy, do we wish we had the camera there. I gave Will some scrambled egg and pancake and he was double fisting it stuffing that food in his mouth. He couldn't get enough. We had to laugh at one point when there was egg stuck under his nose and he just kept chowing down. He also had a LOT of egg in his seat when we got him out. He was too cute. We will definitely take the camera on our next trip there.

Aunt Abigail and Quita came and stayed with Boo-boo last night while Brad and I went bowling with our Sunday School class. It was a nice time. I am sure he will want them to come back and babysit again since he met us at the door at 8:45 when we got home. Haha...he had those suckers fooled when he wimpered and cried at bed time, didn't he?

Here are some pictures we took of Boo-boo when we got home from church. He is so funny. Enjoy!!

Reunited...

When I was pregnant, a friend of mine passed along several of her son's baby items to me. One of the items she gave me was a Nuby teether. Will LOVES the Nuby teether. Well, Sunday afternoon Will and I went to Kroger, and since he was enjoying chowing down on it in the van, Mama thought there would be no harm in bringing it into the store.

Will did great with it. He chomped on it pretty much throughout the whole store. On the way out the door, I noticed the Nuby was gone. Panic came over me...not the Nuby!! We went back in and asked everyone around the register if they saw it on the floor. No Nuby. I prayed Will had thrown it into one of the bags when I wasn't looking. No such luck.

I looked on-line to see if I could get him another one at a store somewhere. I didn't know where to get them since it had been handed down to me by a friend. I found it on-line, and it said it was not available in stores...Babies R Us didn't even have it on their website. I started to realize the Nuby was gone forever.

Yesterday Will and I had lunch with Aunt Abigail. On the way home, we stopped at Babies R Us to get a gift for someone. Knowing it would not be hanging up somewhere, Will and I went down the aisle the teethers were on. Low and behold...the NUBY!!! Will's face lit up and he started making his grunt he makes when he wants something!!! I didn't care how much that crazy thing was, we were getting it...luckily for Daddy, it was just a few dollars!

Oh the joy that little things bring!! Even Daddy was happy to see the Nuby last night. Needless to say, we will NOT be taking it into another store with us!!

Pants or no pants??

We had a good weekend together this weekend. The weather was beautiful, so Saturday morning, Will and I went out to watch Brad play tennis. He and Brian won their match. Will loves being outside, so it was a nice morning.

Yesterday Brad watched Will while I went to Emily's baby shower. Little Charlie is already here, but will be in the NICU for at least a few more weeks. Emily was still supposed to be carrying him, but there were other plans for Charlie. It was a nice shower. I made the cake, so I posted a picture...it is supposed to be a pea in a pod...that was the theme of the shower...I copied the invitation.

So, Nana and Aunt Abigail get mad when they see Will on the blog with no pants. Most days he just wears a onesie...with no pants...around the house. If we go out in public, of course he wears pants. So, today he is hanging out in some pj's...a shirt and pants. He was playing in his pack-n-play and he made the decision whether he was going to wear pants or not. Haha!! He is so funny!

Where's Will???

First he's in the hallway...heading for Toby's water bowl, I'm sure...then he's making faces up at me while I take pictures...then he's on the floor laying down, and then he's INSIDE the tupperware cabinet. He is definitely on the move!!

Will's new resting spot...

Will has found a new resting spot...our coffee table. Haha!! When he gets sleepy, he goes to the coffee table drawer, opens the child lock (yep!!), pulls out a table runner, closes the drawer, climbs under the glass onto the wood, sticks his thumb in his mouth and rests for 5-10 minutes. Then he gets up and plays some more. What a nut!!

I have also posted a picture of him the other night after he finished drinking his bottle. He is laying in his daddy's lap. What a little angel!

This morning he was in the nursery at church and when it was time for me to pick him up, Granddad got to the nursery first. Will was standing with one of the ladies at the door and when he saw his Granddad he started crying and reaching for him. The lady didn't know him, so she wouldn't let him go to her until she saw me. It was sweet...the minute Granddad picked him up, he was all smiles.

Will spent Friday night at Meme and Poppy's house. They had a really fun time together. They watched Baby Einstein a few times and played a lot.

Right now Will is playing with Toby. He LOVES when Toby bites his hands...he sticks his fingers in Toby's mouth so that Toby will bite them...then he cracks up and does it again. It is too funny.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their raining weekend!!

Who's been eating the crib??

So, this is the view of the inside of Will's crib as of today. Keep in mind, this is only a little piece of what it looks like. It used to be just the inside of the crib, but since those top 4 teeth have popped through, the top of the rail is being abused now, too. Because he has a convertible crib. the plastic protectors don't fit. Luckily, I found something that should work on-line and it is in route to my house now. This is how I imagine the conversation would be if Will could talk..
Mama: Hi, Boo-boo, did you have a good nap?
Will: Hi Mama!!
Mama: Boo-boo, who's been eating on your crib?
Will: What are you talking about, Mama?
Mama: All those marks on the rail. Have you been chewing on your crib?
Will: No, Mama, why would you think that? :)

The weekend flies when you're having fun!!

We had a great weekend, but boy, did the time fly by!! Saturday morning I had to decorate cakes for Aryelle's baby shower. After Will had lunch, he and I went to Wal-mart for some shopping. Daddy was at tennis until after we got back. Will wore his "Mommy's New Man" outfit and was very cute.

The weather was so beautiful that we went and played in the front yard that afternoon. Today Will spent the WHOLE day with his Daddy. Mama had to go and help with Aryelle's shower and did not get home until it was time for Will to go to bed. They had a great day together. We just can't believe that tomorrow is already Monday and Daddy is going back to work. Iris is coming to spend Monday and Tuesday with us this week. We hope everyone had a great weekend!!

I like eggs...but not goose eggs!!

So, Will is VERY mobile now. He walks all over the house. Well, today while he was walking around, he went over to the coffee table, and I don't know exactly how he did it, but he fell over and hit his head on the wood part of our table. Well, it took out a little gash of skin on his forehead. It immediately started swelling and he got a little goose egg on his head. It was the first one, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I just hate it when he gets hurt.

I had a Discovery Toys party a few weeks ago and the toys came in yesterday. One of the things I got Will was the "Big Red Shovel." I thought it was hysterical, and I can just picture us at the beach digging in the sand with that shovel. Well, Will loves it. He carried it around the house yesterday and played with it a lot. He found it again today and decided to play with it. It is so funny.

Iris is here again today. She is being so good, and Will is being very sweet with her. He is being gentle with her today, so I am happy about that. He didn't get upset today when I fed her a bottle...Tuesday he was a little jealous.

Will and I are going to Bethlehem tonight to take dinner to another couple in our Sunday School class that had a little boy last week. We are excited to meet Preston. Have a great day.

Will's test results...

The doctor's office called yesterday afternoon with the results of Will's allergy tests. I can't remember if I said or not, but we had to go back and have his blood re-drawn because supposedly they did not get enough to test...hmmm.

Anyway, they tested him for things like dog and cat hair, dust, peanuts, cow's milk, egg yolk, cockroaches, and several other things. The scale goes from 0 (no allergic reaction) to 6 (highly allergic) and I am happy to report that Will scored a 0 on all of the tests!! This better be his first and last test score of a 0...unless it is another health test. :)

In other news, yesterday was Iris' first day with us. We had a very good time together. The first thing we had to do was take her big sister, Annsley, to school. I got a glimpse of what life would be like with three children...one being a 6 year old who can help. Wow...I think we might be done after two!! :)

Since Iris is still little..not quite 3 months...she still sleeps a lot. It seems like she and Will have opposite schedules, which worked out great for me. There was only a period of about 45 minutes when they were both awake...but I was feeding her during that time. I don't know what Will thinks about her...he tried to poke her eyes with his finger and when I grabbed his hand and told him "no, sir," he growled and walked away. Haha! I think he doesn't really know what she is. Brad and I think this will be a good experience for him to learn to share...toys, home, and time with Mama! Iris will be here with us another day this week, two days next week, and then full time starting in a week and a half. This is the picture I sent her mom at work yesterday with a note about what a good day she was having...what an angel!!

Will and I have lots to do today. I am making a meal for another couple in our Sunday School class who had a baby last week...don't join our class unless you want a baby. :) I think this was number 8 in a year...and two more are on the way. So, we need to go get some things to make the meal with. I also have to get some cake supplies for a cake I am making for a shower mom is giving this weekend...I think we are expecting 80 at the shower, so this is going to be a big cake! I hope everyone has a great day!!

Baby, it's cold outside!!

Well, the weather people were right...Georgia got some snow!! In fact, as I type, the snow is coming down very hard!! This morning Will and I went to Grandmother's to celebrate her birthday. Brad called and said he wanted us to head home because it was getting bad at home. We had to go 35 miles an hour on Interstate 20 coming home. It was really bad in Conyers!! When we got home, we bundled up and played for a little while. Will really seemed to enjoy the snow!! Our cute snowman daddy built died a little while after this picture was taken...he is now laying on his back. :) I am so glad we don't live in weather like this all the time, but I enjoy it every now and then!!
