Imaginations at Play...

Today Will and I met our friends Tiffany and Hayes at a place called Imaginations at Play. We had a great time until two daycare groups came with older kids and we decided it was best for the boys if we left.

Here are some pictures of them playing. They visited some places like the Rub-a-Dub tub, Musical Tree, a Day at the Beach, Big City Dig, Veterinarian Clinic, and many other activities.

Will and Hayes both seemed to enjoy the activities there, and Tiffany and I thought it was a great place...especially when we first got there and it wasn't crowded. I think we will visit again sometime!

Will loves Elmo!!

Nana and I took Will to the mall today to get him some shoes. On the way out, there was a man making balloon animals outside of Old Navy. What drew my attention to him was a big Elmo he had made. Will saw it right away. We went over to see Elmo, and the man asked Will if he wanted the little dog he had made, or maybe another animal that he could make. Will looked right at the man, pointed, and said, "Bel-bo." Nana asked me if we should get it and again Will said, "Bel-bo." You should have seen him holding Elmo in the stroller leaving the mall. Mom said it looked like he was saying to all the other kids, "Nanny, nanny, nanny, I have Elmo." It was so funny!!

Pool fun...

I've been trying to take Will up to the pool every afternoon if the weather is nice. He loves to float around and splash, and he especially loves to "jump" off the side of the pool to me. Well, we went a little earlier today because we had some friends come along. Tiffany and her little boy, Hayes, who is a few weeks younger than Will, came for a swim!! Here are a few pictures I took...

You know you're ready for the pool when you have your shades on...funny, I couldn't find them when we GOT to the pool!!! He must have thrown them over the seat.


I couldn't see the screen on my camera when I took this picture. It isn't centered and Will isn't even looking. Oh well...there's Tiffany and Hayes!! :)

The water was chilly, and both boys got a little sleepy at the end, so we didn't stay too long. We will do it again one day...and I will get some better pictures! :)

Sweetness...

See this boy? This 14-month-old as of yesterday precious boy? The one with the dog following him hoping that he will drop that graham cracker?

The one hiding behind the couch yesterday and when I found him he was smiling at me?
Do you know what he did??? Last night I asked him if he was ready to take a night-night. He got down off my lap to head to his room and I said, "Will, tell Daddy night-night and I love you." He stopped on his way, turned and faced Brad, blew him a kiss, and ran to his room!!! How sweet is that??? I love that little boy!!

It's a major award...

Brad called me from work yesterday afternoon and told me that a few departments at work were having a red, white, and blue potluck and he needed to bring in a side dish. So, I ran to Kroger to purchase what I needed, and I threw together a simple hashbrown casserole. Well, look what happened today...

...and this is the prize my husband chose for his win. Why?? Because he said he knows I love to do the crossword in the People magazine each week! Too sweet!! I can't believe my hashbrowns...nuked in the microwave before lunch...won the grand prize!! Haha!
