What am I going to do with him???

So, my child likes to climb on top of the kitchen table...and I have taken all the chairs away. He will pull a chair back to the table and climb on...determined to get on there to play in the centerpiece or to touch the chandelier. How do I keep him off the table???

He has also started straightening his arms, clenching his fists and doing a "grr" sound. I caught pictures of it this afternoon. Too funny! He knows he is funny, too!

C is for cookie...

Tonight after dinner, Brad got himself a cookie. While he had his back turned, Will climbed onto the couch, grabbed the cookie, and chowed down. I had to grab the camera. :)

Today was my first day teaching 3rd grade. I have to say, I enjoyed that age. It was nice that no one came in crying, and they all knew how to read. Haha...after 6 years of teaching Kindergarten, this was a different world.

Will had a great day at Jackie's house. He slept all night last night which was the first time in almost a week. He has been waking up since he started at Jackie's house. When I picked him up today, she said it was an awesome day, and that made me feel so good. He gets good food to eat there, too. :)

She said that he was so sweet, he even shared his thumb with one of the other boys. Haha!! I would have liked to have seen that. Oh, and he started picking his nose today while he was there...let's hope this is not something he decides to do a lot of!

What do you do when you wake up too early??

...you get into Mama and Daddy's bed to watch cartoons (with orange juice and graham crackers) of course!!

In other news, Brad impressed a lot of women today at my new school. All the ladies in the office wanted to know who had sent me these flowers...turns out my husband and son did! :)

I can do it myself...

Will put his sunglasses on by himself...and was SO proud!! Notice anything funny about them?? Haha!

Fun with friends...

Yesterday after Will got home from Jackie's house, we went up to the pool to play with Tiffany, Hayes, April, Alyssa, Kyle, and April's mom. April, Tiffany, and I all went to high school together, and April and I live in the same neighborhood...and didn't know it until Tiffany told us. Haha! Anyway, Will was born in the beginning of May, the twins were about 2 weeks later, and Hayes was a week after that. Here are a few pictures that Tiffany snapped of Will in the pool!!

Will's 1st day of "school"

So, today was supposed to be my first day back at work. After 15 months of being home with my little boy, I am returning to teaching. However, we have our first two furlough days today and tomorrow. I feel good about this though because that meant I could take Will to Jackie's house both mornings to get used to being there before being there all day. Why he sleeps in the days we have somewhere to go, I don't know. I woke him up at 7:25, got him dressed, and headed out. As soon as we got there, a friend named Lucas came and gave him a hug. He went right in and played, and then gave me some love. Jackie took him from me, he looked back once, and they headed into the kitchen for some pancakes and cantelope. No crying...from either of us. :)
