Our weekend...

This weekend started out really good. We had wonderful family time!! I had to go out shopping Saturday morning, so Boo and his Daddy had some father/son time at the pool. Brad said they were the only ones there for a while. Will has really taken to the pool. He will stand on Brad's hands, Brad will throw him, he will go under, and then ask to do it again. Brad said at one point, he was out of the pool throwing a ball into the center of the pool, and Boo would go swim to get the ball and bring it back to him. One lady even asked if he had been to swimming lessons. This child has no fear!!
Later that day, we headed to Athens to celebrate Kate's 3rd birthday! It was at a place called Pump It Up...like Monkey Joe's. Will knew exactly what to do...ran in and started jumping right away. Then he followed in line to the party room...here he is checking out everything around him...

Kate and Will right before cake time! After the party, we went to Daddy's favorite Chinese place...Peking! Meme and Poppi went with us. Will loved the food there...he had a little bit of everyone's meal!
Aunt Beth gave all the boys a crocodile as a party favor. It came with a little set of paints and a paintbrush. Will and Daddy painted his crocodile Sunday morning.
Then after the crocodile painting, Will and his Daddy went in our living room and made a big tower, or "house" for the trains as Will would call it. He loves to build things for the trains to ride through. Look how tall this one was...
And although this picture is a little dark, I thought it was cute of Boo...his hair is getting a little longer, and it's starting to curl up again. I love that little guy!

Will's 1st Movie...

Today was a big day in the life of my favorite two-year-old. He had his first visit to the movie theater. We saw Toy Story 3 with Meme and Kate!! Will wouldn't look up for his picture...I think the sun was in his eyes...oh well...at least we will remember that is him and the movie poster...notice the choo-choos in hand...

Settling in with a nice salty snack at 9:45 a.m. I think he ate more popcorn than any of us girls!
Kate and Will enjoying the comfy seats and their popcorn! Again, notice the trains...
A cute view of him checking out the screen...
And we finished off the morning with a trip to Chick-fil-A...I bought two sandwiches, a 6 piece nugget, 2 medium fries, and 4 waters for a grand total of $1.64!!! We got our entrees free for having Chick-fil-A hats. Will LOVES the cows there, so he was in the middle of a high five when I took this shot!! What a fun day!

Water Park Fun...

Will had another fun first...we visited a water park!!! We went with Tiffany and Hayes to a water park in Gainesville that has a great toddler play area. It's not a water park like you think...it's basically two big pools with slides and one has a lazy river...and there's lots of water guns and things that spray water everywhere. The kids loved it. It was a very nice place to visit...I am sure we will go back soon.
Here are Will and Hayes on the way in...holding hands like best buds do!

Wondering WHY we aren't in that fun pool yet!!

Will was ready...he walked all over to check everything out first. It was nice because the toddler area was about 1 1/2 feet deep. They don't allow kids to wear their swimmys there, but if you got there early enough, they had little life vests. I am glad he had it on because he went under several times and would just bob back up.
Checking out one of the water toys...
His favorite part was the slide. I love that smile!!

Fun weekend!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! It is always nice when Daddy has a long weekend to spend with us. On the 4th, Boo woke up at Nana and Granddad's house. After getting dressed, they met us at church. Later that afternoon, we went to a cookout at Josh's house. Will calls Josh "Dosh," and he followed him around the house calling his name a few times. It was cute. Our friends brought their 17 month old, Charlie, and Will enjoyed playing trains with him. After leaving Josh's house, we went to Meme and Poppi's church for some outdoor fun. The weather was beautiful, thank goodness, or Mama wouldn't have made it. Will got to jump in an inflatable...he knew these were fun since he loves Monkey Joe's. Will also went with Meme to play a putt-putt game. He was able to get the ball in the hole!! We had some yummy food, and we all enjoyed the fireworks. Boo kept clapping and saying "ooh" and "aah." Will got to spend the night at Meme and Poppi's house that night, and he stayed up really late. We picked him up yesterday morning and came home and played until nap time...which almost lasted 4 hours. I was worried he wouldn't go to sleep at bedtime, so we took him to Monkey Joe's to wear him out a little. Then we had dinner together at Zaxby's. When we came home, more trains were played, and then we played a little outside. Will helped Brad water the plants, and we did a few poppers and sparklers. It was a wonderful weekend!! Here are the two loves of my life watering my first Mother's Day gift...my magnolia tree. Will watches everything his Daddy does.

Then they decided to do the limbo with the hose...
He was NOT happy when he walked into the hose and got wet!! He quickly ran to me to tell me he was wet. The back of his head is where he got it!!

Believe it or not, this is the best picture I could get of Will with a sparkler. He loves them, but he won't look at the camera...he just stares at it. I will try again for a good shot.
I thought this picture was hysterical!! I told him to smile for Mama...he came up to me and got as close as he could and made this face. What a nut!!

Will's new trains...

Meme brought over two new trains for Will yesterday. He put the little one on top of the big one. The little one only works on the hardwoods...it lights up, makes noise, and spins around. When it hits a wall, it just backs up and turns around. The big one is actually a ride on train. It works if you hold the button down, but I think Boo was so excited about just having it that he didn't have the patience to learn how to work it. Boy, was he excited!!
