So much to be thankful for!!

What a great family we have!! Brad, Will, and I have spent time with both sides of our family the past two days. Will has spent time with all his grandparents, including his two great-grandmothers. What a nice time. Yesterday we went and had some pictures taken of Will and Kate. They did not turn out as good as last time, but I posted one for you to see. The one of Meme and the two babies was Wednesday night at her house. They were watching Baby Einstein while we all played Bunco.

All the other pictures are from our time at Nana and Granddad's house today for Thanksgiving. Meme and Poppy were there, too. What a great Thanksgiving...and so much to be thankful for today!!

Cake anyone?

Here is the dumptruck cake that I made for someone and the turkey cupcakes we are taking to Meme and Poppy's house tomorrow night. Enjoy!!

Feed me already!!!

Dear Mama...
Don't you know it is a little after 7:00 and I have been up for almost 20 minutes already? Don't you know I am hungry and these fingers aren't doing anything to help that? Why are you taking pictures instead of bringing me that yummy cereal with pears and raspberries mixed in? I see it sitting on the counter. Oh wait...is the TV on? I will watch it until you get here. I love you!!
Love, Will

Poor Toby

After Will's nap this afternoon, he was ready to play with Toby...notice the grip he has on his fur!!! Poor thing!!

We love Christmas!! :)

It's going to be Will's first Christmas, and we are getting in the spirit!! Daddy put the tree up for us today, Mama put the ornaments on and has been putting out other decor today, too. Nana's friend, Joann, made our new stockings for us...I included a close up so that you could see the beautiful inside lining. I think this Christmas will be my best yet...and definitely my most blessed!! :)

Olympics...here we come!!

We have a little gymnast on our hands!! Brad took Will outside this afternoon and then I heard him calling my name. They were swinging on our back porch and Brad decided to teach him chin-ups. Well, Will grabbed on and hung on for dear life. Is he a strong 6 month old or what? Check him out!!!

What sweet boys!!

What sweet boys I have!! Will and Daddy decided to pose for me this morning...notice the bottom lip tucked in Will's mouth...that is his "irritate Granddad" lip!! :) Brad had to go to tennis this morning...14 degrees here is a little too chilly for Will and I. In fact, he is resting very nicely in his crib with a blanket on top of him right now.

Speaking of his crib, Daddy lowered it for him on Thursday morning. Daddy went in to work a little late Thursday, so he was able to lower the crib. However, Will can still get to the rail and bite on it. The protectors I bought for the railing don't work with our crib. I guess I will just have to paint it a little once he is done scraping his teeth on it...

That's right, I said TEETH!! His second tooth broke through yesterday morning. Although you can barely see it, it is there. I tried to get a good picture of his other tooth, and I think you can see it well in the one where he is standing in his crib with his mouth open wide.

It is a sad, but happy day!! Will is done nursing as of today! I have been weaning him for the past few weeks, and this morning he had his last. :( I enjoyed nursing him and now the time has come to be finished. 6 1/2 months...who knew we would have lasted that long...and with mastitis 3 times. Yikes!! At least we have given him a bottle from day one, so he didn't have any trouble with the weaning process.

We are supposed to put up our Christmas decor this weekend. Daddy isn't too excited about it, but this is one of the only weekends we have to do it before our Sunday School class is here for the Christmas party in a few weeks. I hope we get to do it.

Next week is going to be a busy one. Will and I will be cleaning Nana and Granddad's house Monday. Then I have to come home and make Anna's son, Ethan's, birthday cake that she is picking up Tuesday. Brad won tickets through work for a preview Tuesday night of "4 Christmases" so we will be seeing that...I am excited. Then on Wednesday, Meme and Aunt Beth and I are having Will and Kate's pictures taken. Then we are celebrating Thanksgiving with Brad's family that night. Thursday is Thanksgiving...ahh!! The time is flying.

Stay tuned for pictures of my "little turkey" on Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a great weekend. Lots to do!!! :)

Will gets around...

Last night after Daddy got Will ready for bed, he decided he wanted to stand up and chew on the coffee table. He also started babbling "da-da" last night. We know that he is not saying it for his daddy yet, but it was funny when he said it and we both looked at each other and asked, "did he just say da-da?" Too cute!!

Will's weekend with Meme and Poppy

Here are some pictures Meme sent that she took of Will this weekend. He stayed with her while Mama and Daddy went to Helen for a getaway! I couldn't figure out how to flip that one picture, so sorry about that. Enjoy!!

Our trip to Helen, GA

Brad and I had a great weekend together. We went to Helen, GA with our friends Brian, Ellen, Josh, and Allison. We stayed in a very nice cabin there, and just had a wonderful time. Saturday night was full of hot-tubbing, game playing, football watching, and lots of laughs. Sunday Josh woke the house up with the smell of bacon frying on the stove.

Brad, Brian, Ellen, and I went to the North GA corn maze and had a blast. It was cold, and we were the only ones there, but we really enjoyed it.

Enjoy our pictures. Here is Josh and Allison outside a little place we ate at on Saturday afternoon. I also got a picture of a rainbow Saturday while we were walking around the town. Ellen was in perfect pose for a picture, too...as well as Brad...isn't that a good picture of him?

Will also had a good weekend. He was with Meme and Poppy while we were gone. Thanks to Meme and Poppy for keeping him and entertaining him this weekend!! Now that he is gone, they need a day off work to recover. :)
