Mr. Underwear

I don't know why, but our little one always wants to put his brother's underwear on his head! Whenever I get Will's clothes and underwear out for the day, Daniel insists on trying it out first! Crazy boy!

Aunt Winnie and cousins Ryan, Jessica, and Elliott came to visit this week. The boys, Nana, and I took them to the GA Aquarium on Thursday! Daniel went nuts when we walked in and he saw the fish! He LOVED it!

Sleepy Little Ones...

Brad and the boys and I were out running errands on Saturday. We went to Kohl's, Home Depot, the bank, the library, and to Cheddar's (a family favorite) for lunch. The boys were obviously tired on the way home. :)

Will Did It!!

My kids LOVE to eat yogurt! They would eat a case between the two of them in a day if they could. Will eats his quickly, and Daniel takes his time. You can tell this when you realize once they're done that Daniel has not spilt a bit and Will has it everywhere. Here's what happened this afternoon...Daniel was checking Will out while he was getting his snack out of the fridge...

Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?

Sponge Bob Square Pants...my kids both enjoy the Sponge Bob song at the beginning of the show, and they will watch a few minutes of it at times. Will thought it was funny that Daniel woke us up by singing the song at the top of his lungs this morning. So, on the way to meet Nana today, he made a video!!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Will attended his first Atlanta Braves game last night. We walked a long way from where we parked, he ate Chick-fil-A for dinner, Granddad bought him a Yankees semi-truck in the Braves store, he ate some cotton candy, and he was ready to go home in the 3rd inning. He told me on the way home that he had fun, but he did not want to go back! Haha!

A trip to the farm

Daniel and I went to Jaemor Farms this morning to get some fresh corn on the cob. Everything there always looks so pretty. The best looking thing (besides the homemade peach ice cream that we didn't get) was the beautiful red strawberries! We have tons of berries in our freezer from when I picked three buckets earlier this spring, but these were so big and so red!! Daniel went nuts over them and must have eaten 5 or so while we were walking around!! All the older people were making comments to him about how good those berries must be!!

Popcorn and a movie

Daddy had to work late last night, so when I asked the boys what they wanted to do after we ate dinner, the response was to watch a movie and for me to make popcorn! The boys now have a TV for movie watching upstairs in their playroom. So, that's what we did...Daniel always has to be in charge of the bowl and who gets to eat out of it...notice Toby is close by hoping he'll knock it over...

This boy loves Cars

We went to Kroger on Thursday, and we happened to walk down an aisle that had some toys on it. Whenever Will sees anything "Cars," we have to stop and look. To our surprise (because we thought we had them all already) there were two cars we had never seen before. Well, he had to have them. He was so excited that on the way home, he had to call Daddy at work, Granddad, and Meme to tell them about the new cars!

Feeling Down

Brad and I were on a cruise last week for our 9th wedding anniversary. We are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents nearby who are always willing to help out with our sweet boys. Well, while we were sailing away, Nana and Meme were taking Daniel to see Dr. Elder. Turned out he had hand, foot, and mouth disease. He had it last year during my spring break, and this case was much more mild. So, that's what we came home to on Friday.

Well, he's been very irritable, and kept pulling at his ears. I took him back in to the doctor yesterday morning. Poor little guy has bronchitis and an ear infection now. 

 I also had Will checked out because he had started running a fever Monday night. He also has an ear infection! 

I'm ready for my boys to feel better so that we can get our summer started!

A Beautiful Afternoon

It was a beautiful afternoon today, so we headed down to the lake to play in the water. 

 We couldn't stay in for that long because there was a pretty strong breeze that was making us all chilly!

 So, what do you do when you're kind of cold and already wet???

 You jump in the hot tub and play some more!

The Day that the Lord Has Made...

Both of my boys LOVE to sing! Their favorite song to sing is "This is the Day that the Lord Has Made." Well, about a week or two ago, Will started singing it in the car, and Daniel joined in. We were almost home, so I put my phone up to the rear view mirror and hit record. They crack me up!!!

Remember how I said that Will has taken up photography...in the car? He usually takes pictures of passing cars, or Daniel, or his toys, or the back of my head. Well, about two weeks ago, he started taking pictures of himself...haha!
