...homework, that is! We are into week 5 of Kindergarten and homework has just begun. Tonight's assignment was for Will to draw his teacher. We had big plans...talked about it last night after his homework, again this morning on the way to school, he had a talk with Mrs. Gosman this morning, and we talked about it on the way home today. His plan was to draw Mrs. Gosman and Mrs. Statham...and he couldn't wait. So, then it happened...it wasn't what he wanted. Mrs. Gosman did not turn out as beautiful as she really is...so says Will. I told him this was an awesome picture of Mrs. Gosman and that I thought she would love it. He didn't. So, she got erased...if you can erase crayon. She just wasn't beautiful enough.
So, he did this. He added her yellow hair...after I convinced him it was cute hair and not crazy hair. She finally looked "more beautifuller" and more like her real self. So, next comes Mrs. Statham. Not good! See Mrs. Gosman's right hand is holding something...or used to be holding something? Well, that was Mrs. Statham...then it got erased...then it became a flag...and then it got erased! Sorry, Mrs. Statham, but Mama thought he'd had enough. 30 minutes of getting frustrated was plenty for tonight. We love Mrs. Statham, but she'll have to be drawn another night!
But after dinner and bath time, he was back to his normal, crazy self...swinging nun-chucks and talking about tomorrow's events! I love that boy!
