Mama is 30!!

We're back...back to blogging, that is. It has been over a week. In that week, Mama has been sick, has had curriculum night and didn't get home until after 9pm, and then to end the week, Mama turned 30 on Saturday!! Here are a few pictures from our week...I will try to be better next week...

Will had some wild hair one morning...Daddy caught in on film!

Some beautiful flowers from some neighbors...as a thank you for taking their son to tennis camp one day over the summer! I like opening the door to people like that...LOL!

Will at Dominick's for my birthday dinner last night!! He loves to eat! While we were all enjoying our salads, he was munching on carrot shreds, black olives, and craisins...then he ate three little saucers of spaghetti!!

Will while everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me...he must of thought it was for him!!

I spent some wonderful time with my family last night!! They also gave some fabulous gifts!! I got gift cards to Target, Kohl's, and Belk, a pretty new monogrammed purse, and a new monogrammed school bag from my hubby! He also got me a few gift cards and is having our carpets cleaned tomorrow while he is off work!!! I was most excited about that. Oh yeah, and my mom got me a new chocolate fountain because mine bit the dust...I now have the Wilton one...bigger and better...now, who's having a shower? LOL!

One more thing I forgot to mention...on Friday when I picked Will up from Jackie's house, he didn't want to come home with me!! I knew that day would come, and as happy as I was that he loves to be there, I was a little sad, too! Have a good week!!

Daddy can't catch me...

This morning before Brad got Will ready to go to Jackie's, Toby was outside doing his thing. When he pushed the door open, Will took the opportunity to go outside when Daddy wasn't looking. He grabbed the broom that was on the back porch and ran into the yard. Brad snapped a picture and then went out to get him. I guess he didn't want to go play with his friends today because he ran from Brad...all the way to the back of the fence. I would have loved to have seen that. :)

You know how sometimes after a long day of work, all you want to do is put your feet up and watch your favorite show?? Well, Will does that, too...here he is getting ready to watch Baby Einstein this afternoon...

...with his buddy, Elmo, that Mama bought at the Kidsignment sale yesterday for $3. He survived the washer and the dryer, and Will loves him!!!

I like to P-A-R-T-Y!!

We went to Will's little buddy's 1st birthday party today!! It was at a local park, and we had a great time. It was hot...as you can tell by Will's face. Enjoy the pics...

...or so he tried to get his Daddy to believe. Will grabbed his thermometer (the underarm one) and was trying to persuade Brad to keep him home from Jackie's today. :)

In all seriousness, Will is doing fabulous at Jackie's house. When I arrived today, he and two friends were sitting on the kitchen floor eating their pretzels and drinking their milk for snack. He has learned her routines, and is having a blast. That is such an answer to prayer!!!

What am I going to do with him???

So, my child likes to climb on top of the kitchen table...and I have taken all the chairs away. He will pull a chair back to the table and climb on...determined to get on there to play in the centerpiece or to touch the chandelier. How do I keep him off the table???

He has also started straightening his arms, clenching his fists and doing a "grr" sound. I caught pictures of it this afternoon. Too funny! He knows he is funny, too!

C is for cookie...

Tonight after dinner, Brad got himself a cookie. While he had his back turned, Will climbed onto the couch, grabbed the cookie, and chowed down. I had to grab the camera. :)

Today was my first day teaching 3rd grade. I have to say, I enjoyed that age. It was nice that no one came in crying, and they all knew how to read. Haha...after 6 years of teaching Kindergarten, this was a different world.

Will had a great day at Jackie's house. He slept all night last night which was the first time in almost a week. He has been waking up since he started at Jackie's house. When I picked him up today, she said it was an awesome day, and that made me feel so good. He gets good food to eat there, too. :)

She said that he was so sweet, he even shared his thumb with one of the other boys. Haha!! I would have liked to have seen that. Oh, and he started picking his nose today while he was there...let's hope this is not something he decides to do a lot of!
