Silly boy...

I have noticed lately that Will likes to lay down on the kitchen floor in the middle of playing. I think he must like that it feels cool down there. I heard him laughing and when I looked down, there he was smiling at me. What an angel!

Play me a song, Mr. Piano Man :)

One of the presents Brad and I gave Will for his birthday was this Fisher Price piano. He LOVES his piano. Brad thinks it is one of Will's best toys. Will probably plays with it 5 or 6 times a day.

Will no longer uses his Bumbo seat, but I have it out for Iris to use when she is here. This morning he moved it in front of his piano. I had to get the camera! :)

Pictures from Ava's Party

Will's third cousin, Ava, had her 3rd birthday party this weekend. It was a pool party. All day, and until we left for the party, it had misted and/or was cloudy. We figured the pool would be cold, so we didn't bring Will's suit. The sun came out on the way to the party, and as you can see, not having a suit did not stop Will from enjoying the fun! He may look scared on the slide with Uncle Zack, but he was smiling at the end. Oh, and Aunt Beth and Uncle Zack are having a baby BOY in November. Now Kate will have a brother, and Will is going to have a boy cousin! Enjoy.

Sunday afternoon backyard fun...

Look at my little muscle man! :)

Today was a wonderful day. We started off by going to church this morning. For the first time in a while, Will did not cry when I took him to the nursery. They said he was so good while he was there. After Sunday school, Brad and I had nursery duty. We helped in a class that had kids a few months younger than Will.

When we got home, we all had some lunch and then Will took a good 3 hour nap. After he woke up and had his snack, he and I went to Shane Company to pick up my ring that was being sized and a diamond replaced.

Once we got home and had dinner, we went out in the back to play. I had filled up Will's baby pool, but it was still chilly after several hours in the warm air. He kept getting in and out, in and out, in and out. :)

He also played with his water table that Grandmother Rucker gave him for his birthday. Daddy made more bubbles for him, and he loved that. I think his favorite thing was running in the yard chasing Toby. Will got a nice warm bath after playing outside.

Overall, it was a very nice weekend. We have a busy week ahead of us. We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Bubble boy

Will likes bubbles!! Today while he and I were at Wal-mart, I saw these big bubble wands for $1. I thought, hey, $1 for a little entertainment, not too shabby. When Daddy got home, they went out in the back and played. Ignore our grass...we were out of town last weekend and Brad has a hole in his eardrum and hasn't felt like cutting grass when he got home from work this week! Happy weekend!! :)

Look, Mama, no hands!!

A little before Will's first birthday, I started replacing bottles with a sippy cup. First, I started putting his afternoon juice in a sippy, then his lunch milk, then dinner milk, all that's left is breakfast milk and to get rid of that night time one. He has had trouble with the sippy as far as getting the drink to his mouth. I keep showing him how to tip it backwards so that the milk gets to him.

I noticed this week that he has figured it out. Not only is he becoming a pro at the sippy cup, but he can do tricks with it, too! What a big boy!!
