The past few weeks...

It's been a while since I've updated...I have been so tired and yucky feeling lately! This pregnancy is much different than I had with Will...not just how tired I am compared to the first time, but being sick!! I wasn't really sick with Will...I hope this passes soon!!

So, what's going on in the Rucker house? Here is a picture of Will last week...doing his favorite thing he does every afternoon when we get home...he has some juice, a banana, and enjoys a little bit of cartoons in his Elmo chair!

Yep, that's a Fruit Loop in his ear...crazy boy!

One afternoon he wanted to watch "Elmo's song" on Youtube! Here he is waiting on it to come on.

And here he is...sick...with the croup...again. He is home with Mama today...and went down for a nap as soon as we got home from the doctor's office. Poor little guy...we hate when he's sick!

He is going to be a BIG BROTHER in early September!!

Dr. Will

On Christmas Eve when we were at Meme and Poppi's house, Aunt Beth took these pictures of "Dr. Will." He had gotten into Kate's doctor kit, and he was having a blast! She just sent us these pictures this week, so I thought I would share them. Isn't he just the cutest??

Since my last post, we have had a lot going on. One day we got a "snow" day from school. Our personal house had pretty much nothing, but somewhere else in the county must have been bad since we were cancelled. Will and I stayed home that day and lounged in our pj's and played all day. It was so nice.

We also learned last week that Will is more like his Mama than we realized! When I picked him up from Jackie's, she informed me that 30 minutes into his nap, he got off the cot and took a walk around the room...in his sleep! She carefully led him back to the cot and he immediately laid back down. We might be in trouble...he talks in his sleep like his Mama, and now he walks in his sleep like his Mama! Haha! Poor little guy!

Will's new favorite thing to do...

It got very quiet in the house the other day. What was Will up to?? Why, his new favorite thing to do...opening the fridge!

"Oh, Mama, don't worry about me...I'll close the door when I'm done!"
" Hmm...so many things to explore. Butter? Nope...I opened Nana and Granddad's and it wasn't too exciting! Eggs? Nope...I got into those yesterday. I just had a snack, but this is so fun!! I think I'll choose...."

"...this yellow stuff...what do you eat this with, Mama?"

It's been a while since I've posted...sorry about that. With Will being so sick, and the end of school before Christmas, and our computer acting up, I haven't been able to update. We got our computer back yesterday, so hopefully I can update more often. So, what's been going on in the Rucker house the past few weeks?? Let's see some pictures...

We went to the mall with Nana and Granddad one day and rode the "choo-choo."
Well, Granddad rode it..haha!

Will got a driving lesson from his Daddy when we went to Meme and Poppi's house one night...he LOVED it! :)

Oh yeah...high five! :)

We went to Great-Grandmother and Papa Lou's house to celebrate Christmas. Will had fallen in Meme and Poppi's driveway the day before and busted his face and hand! He loves playing the piano, so he gave us a show!

On Christmas Eve, Kate received a doctor's kit. Inside were these glasses...Will wouldn't put them down!

When we finally made it back to our house on Christmas night, Will got to see what Santa had brought him and what Mama and Daddy had bought and wrapped for him. He loves his Elmo (or Melmo...as he says) tool bench. That was his big gift from Santa.

And here is a cake I made in early December for a lady that Brad works with. It was her son's 1st birthday and they were doing a Curious George theme. I thought it turned out cute.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that 2010 is a great year for all!

Hand...foot...mouth...

No, it's not the Hokey Pokey...it's the disease Will has...hand foot and mouth disease! Yikes!! We thought he just had a virus until the rash and mouth sores popped up. We are on day 6 of him being home. Aunt Abigail is going to stay with him tomorrow, and hopefully he can return to Jackie's on Wednesday. Here are a few pictures of our poor little guy...
