Little Loves

These pictures aren't the greatest. I took them with my phone off the computer. Daniel went to his (girl)friend's house this morning to play. He loved it! He has been asking for two days when he got to go to Lucy-Claire's house, and if he could spend the night. Ha! Her mom said they played so well together and had the best time!!
Look how precious this is...she's showing him how to shoot her bow and arrow!! I just love how they love each other!!!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with Brad's side of the family, Christmas day with my side, and Christmas night with just the four of us. I realized I didn't get any pictures of Will during some of this time because he was so busy in the playroom playing with his new Disney Infinity characters!!
Daniel wanted a sword...that's what he told Santa on many occasions. Santa brought him a sword, and then Nana and Granddad gave him a ninja kit. He thought he was something else.
Something both my boys wanted this year was a Snackeez. As Daniel says...food on top, drink on bottom!
Santa also brought the boys each a fishing pole. In the kit that Daniel got, he had some glasses to match his pole...notice previously mentioned sword in the background...
One of my main pains with my Fibromyalgia is in my feet. Brad went in with Meme and Poppi and got me this fabulous foot and calf massager. Daniel likes to get in my lap and feel it, too. I've found all three of my guys using it! I know it will get plenty of use around here!
Will's main request this year was the Paw Patrol lookout...here it is. Santa brought it, and the remaining pups and vehicles we were lacking. He was SO excited!!!
We gave Brad a 1000 piece puzzle of the Georgia Bulldog Stadium, Sanford Stadium. After about 45 minutes, he still had not placed anything together. After working several hours yesterday, we still don't have the outline finished. This is going to be a long project...
The boys are both really into the TMNT...here was one of the presents they got...the turtle blimp.
And their big gift this year...we are taking them on the Disney Dream!! We went on the Magic in February and loved it. We are so looking forward to this cruise!!!

Cousin Christmas

Last night, Brad and I had three more children in our home for a total of five. The ages were 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4. It was fun having cousins Ava, Kate, and Jackson with us for the night...even if no sleep was had. The first planned activity was coloring..each of the kids received huge coloring books from us.
We had a nice spaghetti dinner before decorating cookies to take for Santa when he visits tonight. You can see that the beautiful artwork was displayed!
Ava and Kate agreed to read the Christmas story for us from our children's bible. It was precious.
Look what the boys were like during the story...
Merry Christmas from The Rucker Family!

So blessed...

Brad and I are so blessed with our boys, our family, our home, and our jobs. Thankfully, Brad has been able to keep his job at Turner this year. Instead of teaching in Gwinnett like I have the past 12 years, I am working at our church teaching pre-K. I have to say that this is the happiest I've ever been with a job, and I treasure each day I have. To show our appreciation to our co-workers, I made these sweet treats for them. I made 30 containers that looked like this. Not only were they decorated differently, but they were different cakes, too.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to be at school with this little guy each day. He is across the hall from me, and he is SO happy!! This was him yesterday as we were walking in to our Christmas program for the parents. We were also having a Happy Birthday, Jesus party. On the way to school, Daniel asked me what time Jesus would be showing up for his party. Precious.
This week we also made a gingerbread house together as a family. Will absolutely LOVED doing it. I really feel like taking the cooking class he takes at school is opening his eyes to a lot of creative things in the kitchen. Maybe he can start helping me with my cakes and cupcakes??
Another great thing about my job is the fact that I am able to go to special activities that Will has at his school. Wednesday was his class play and party. Will played a toy train...he was SO happy when I walked in. I checked him out after the party...we ran some errands, I took him to Stevie B's for lunch, and then we went and picked Daniel up from school. He told me on the way to get Daniel that it was the best day he's ever had alone with me! There are not many moments like that!

Breakfast with Santa

We went to Will's school a few weekends ago and had Breakfast with Santa. The boys were able to eat, make reindeer food for Christmas Eve, get their faces painted, and get a treat from the pocket lady. They also got their picture taken with Santa. What a fun morning!!

Cooking with Daddy

Brad asked Will if he wanted to make some eggs with him Saturday morning. Will said yes, but that he had to get ready. This is how he came back to the kitchen. :-)

Santa comes to school

Santa came to mine and Daniel's school on Friday. Before we went to visit with him though, we went to the tree for some music time. I thought it was SO cute...I looked over and Daniel and his buddy had their arms around each other.

This is Daniel's little friend, Macy Michael. She's a trip!
Daniel was SO excited to tell Santa what he wanted...a sword. Not really sure where that came from!

Santa even gave him a present! What a fun memory!!

Sweet boys

My boys are too cute. When we get home from school, they want to get ready for bed by getting in some cozy jammies. Then they lounge around and play together and it is so sweet...most of the time. The other day, they each got a blinking nose. They were so funny with them!

Will is constantly arranging and re-arranging the Christmas presents under the tree. He is so funny.

This week...

This week was a fun one. For starters, Chippy the elf returned. We were excited to see him. The boys also got some elf jammies this year. This morning, we had breakfast with Santa at Will 's school. It was a very nice event. We love the Christmas season.
